About Camp Oso

The Renegade Bears of San Antonio are getting the bears back into their natural habitat and having a lot of fun along the way. Join us for our annual event as we head into the wilderness for a camping trip like no other. We'll have games, prizes, and enough food to feed a bear. This promises to be a weekend you won't soon forget.

Event Rules

Participants must be 21 years of age or older at the time of the event, must present as male, and must adhere to the Code of Conduct. The Renegade Bears of San Antonio are not liable for any losses incurred by attendees. Refunds will be available up to 30 days prior to the event, less a $5 admin fee.

The Venue

We are proud to partner with Grizzly Pines to bring you this event. Located in a scenic, quiet corner of East Texas, Grizzly Pines is the perfect getaway location to unplug and enjoy nature at its finest. Whether you're a rugged outdoorsman who's happy to pitch a tent (not that kind!) and sleep on the floor, an experienced camper who owns a house on wheels, or someone who needs four walls and a roof to sleep peacefully, Grizzly Pines has got you covered. They offer a wide variety of accommodations to suit everyone's needs.

ACCOMMODATIONS

Cabins

At a minimum, all cabins have at least one queen or full bed and AC and heating. Different cabins are equipped with different amenities so check out what they have to offer at grizzlypines.com.

30/50 Amp Spaces

Do you have your own travel trailer or RV? Drive it on down and hookup on site.

Tent Spaces

Pitch a tent and roll out your sleeping bags. This is camping at its most basic.

Bearracks Bunkhouse

If you don't need the privacy of a cabin, but just can't sleep comfortably on the floor then this may be the right option for you.

AMENITIES

Pool

Probably the most popular hangout spot at Grizzly Pines. Soak up the sun and meet new people.

Golf Cart Rentals

Get around the campground easily and quickly with one of their golf carts available for rent.

Randy's Big Gay Taco

We will be providing food throughout the weekend, but in case you get hungry between meals you can always grab a bite at Randy's.

Clothing Optional

Let your hair hang down or, if you're so inclined, let your balls hang down. Grizzly Pines is a safe space for nudists.

RULES

Smoking

Smoking is permitted on the grounds; however, smoking is prohibited inside all lodging accommodations as well as in the pool/hot tub.

Dogs

Dogs are permitted (updated rabies documentation required). All pets must be leashed at all times.

Photos

Cameras of any kind are not permitted. You may not capture any images on your phone at any time.

Registration

Registration is open now! For as little as $75 you get access to all of our exclusive events throughout the weekend including the games, cocktail parties, and meals. Grizzly Pines has temporarily blocked off this weekend exclusively for Renegade Camp Oso guests. Once your registration is complete, we will send you a code that you can use when making your reservations with Grizzly Pines to let them know you're with us. Accommodations are not included with Renegade Camp Oso registration and will be paid directly through Grizzly Pines. Cabin availability is limited, so register soon!

Registration Fees will be collected as follows:

Early Bird: $75 until Dec 31, 2023

Standard: $80 Jan 1 - May 31, 2024

Late: $100 Jun 1 onward (no t-shirt)

A 4% card service fee will be added for registering online.
